I woke up at 7am this morning!
and i didn't manage to go anywhere!
lol. suppose to have school at 10.
but after a jog, i realised i was late for school.
Another appointment at 130..but.. i cancelled..
lol. tuition at 430.. but.. my gal cancelled it at 4...
lol. so what was the reason that i woke up at 7am to jog earlier??
perhaps for the beautiful sunrise that i saw and perhaps also for the prayer meeting at 745pm! lol.

.........i'm so tired now!

really bored at home..
been sleeping non stop since yday 4pm when i reach home.

my first time to NUS Health and Wellness Centre yday..
to be simple.. it's actually NUS clinic..
i took early leave yday from my tutorial..
really couldn't take it.. my stomach was so acidic and uncomfortable..
my whole body was feeling feverish.
had no choice but to head to the clinic..
(oh no payment at all.. it's actually free.. right choice when u're broke yet seeing doc is needed.)
doc diagnosed to be either food poisoning or gastric flu as i was having a fever.

had a bad journey home too.. my stomach just wasn't feeling right..
but what to do.. NUS to sengkang is seriously far too expensive.
i had no choice but to tahan till i reach compass point and took a cab home.
i went home feeling weak and frail. went straight to the toilet and nearly vomited..as it was all gastric acid and nothing else..

had medicine and slpt throughout.. till 8 plus. had nothing but porridge water.. (mum insisted me to drink that and no rice/porridge). had a few mouth (no appetite) and took medicine and slpt again. woke up at 4 am. what...38.5.. worse than what i measure before i slp. feeling weak again but couldn't bear to wake my mum up. had an unsteady walk to the dining table.. took 2 pills for fever. and quickly walk back to my bed before i faint like last time.

I was telling God to discipline me for I did something that i know isn't pleasing before His eyes. it was 09/09. And now i know I can't hide or give empty words.. for He took me really seriously. 10/09

I learnt my wrong Lord 11/09.

i really wonder what a leader will do when one is your lover, and the other your co-worker?
i remember seeing a leader keeping quiet when conflict arises between them.

i can't tell, cos i've seen a leader keeping quiet, which is a silent siding of the love one.

so? what does this mean?
it is always not easy to be a leader or a co-worker of the leader.

GREAT MORNING!
I went for a morning job around my estate!
Must be thinking why i'm so relax right...
I've finished my SENTOSA assignment!
offically end of work..
but unofficially going back to be acting secretary from 30 July to 5 Aug!
It's a nice place to work in so i won't reject oso..

The first few days of work that i went MERLION for FREE! keke. rocks! and this is Fannie, an architect! she's a funny one! you may think why i look so "cham", try standing and facing the sun and take a photo! you'll look like how i look. that's the max i can open my eyes in fact! hahahaha. fannie more pro. haha. maybe cos she's trained. haha

PEACOCKS walking around as if the island is their home! haha but it is their home! LOL.
SUZIE!!! going out for lunch a few times with her makes me feeeeeel back in church! haha but it's definitely nice to eat with your age ppl.. opps. :p

And of course, my slacker partner! the one who always say i "bully" her, but do i "bully" ppl so often?? no mahz..... :X no right!

And... after a few weeks.... EDWIN came! haha. and he's really "dao" haha. but just when you thought that he is "dao" and introvet, he sang KTV in one of my department function! haha. wah. stunning thought, but he knows more Mandarin songs than suzie! he's full of surprises!haha.

so that's about it... wait till i'm back from cruise and maybe bangkok.. ROCKS! :D

oh i've just moved my workstation again!
from 2 person share a workstaion to 2 person share a long table
and to now! 3 person share a big meeting room!
super high.
and what's best is that...
kekeke, no one can watch what we are doing..
cos we are back-facing the window. lol.
so.. i guess now it's more slack..
maybe more videos and songs..

It's really enjoyable working in Sentosa..
Most of the people are really nice.
They will smile to you and say "Hi!" when they see you.. even when you don't know them or first time meeting them.
They have no air.. take for the directors of my dept,
they are really nice that they can drive you out for lunch..
treat me some nice dessert..
Most of them are these kind of people..

However, there's always people who really bully temp staff..
like asking us to do things which they won't ask the perm staff..
and saying words like "What's wrong with you?" without reasons when they just want to vent their whole day of stress on someone, and the best person is a temp staff.. and yah, so i got that yday..

In fact, i know it's all out of stress..purely unintentional.. but if I am someone whom you treasure, will u still vent all these on me? Maybe that person may sapologize after the whole incident.. but would you rather say that the person does not treasure you because if she does, she would have apologize or would u rather say that the person does not treasure you because in the first place, if she does, she would not flare up. what's your choice for this..

in fact my mum always tell me something: never bring back your unhappiness or moody attitude from work to home/dinner outside.. I practise that, in fact, i believe in that we should just let unhappiness from work or school stays in workplace or school. however, some people just can't do that.. like my brother, if he's superly stressed at work, things didn't turn out well at work, he will definitely turn up the volume of his Hi-fi in his room and techno-fy the room, regardless of who is in the house and what time it is. and when he "bomb" the room with techno, anyone who knocks his room will suffer from his sucky attitude and everything that you request, will be "NO!".

Different people have different waty of handling their stress.. but one thing to take note.. do not let your stress or unhappiness affect the peeople around you.. i think this is people relationship that we should practise.

welcome to sentosa island! today marks the 4th day of work, excluding 1 day of MC! yah i took an MC on my 3rd day of work... supposed to be 1st day, cos the night before i went to see a doc, and he intended to give me MC the next day, but i din, cos it won't be nice to be absent on your first day of work. anyway Sentosa is a nice place to work in.. dressing slack, as in not shorts la, but jeans or 3/4 pants that kind.. and the people i work with, it's amazing. i had surprises for my first two days of work!

Can you believe that I had lunch with my administrative manager? (normally temp staff only eats with temp staff) if that's not cool enough, can u believe that I had lunch with the executive director of my department aka the head of Resort Development in Sentosa, and only the 7 of us, and he treated us?? (actually it was his birthday! lol) that's really cool. working in this environment is really comfortable. no stress, no status. and yesterday, I met the CEO of Sentosa, wow..... no air put up.. seriously friendly and like anyone that i would meet on the street.

What is more important is that I get to understand or learn many building details over here, tho i'm just a temp staff doing admin, but being in the resort development department, which is specialising in the IR in sentosa, i get to see familiar things like safety helmet, boots, many drawings, big machines for printing the drawings, workstations that are labeled as "engineers" "architecture" "civil and structural"... and learning/reading contracts and agreements. so it's really an eye-opener, learning what i've been studying and seeing them in real life. cool experience. maybe i could ask them to employ me for intern next year. haha.

kk i've been slacking, better pretend that i'm working hard. keke.

woohoo. i do feel that excitement... and i even thought of the excitement when i was in the midst of my last paper! haha and i divert myself to doing the paper again! haha. it's just happy and relief!

i slp well today. but weird thing is i dreamed of not writing well for my last paper! (see... it's really exam stress.. lol. or post exam stress..) haha

okie everything will be coming together to form pieces of my plan this hols!
i'm excited! i gotta be disciplined! :)

I've got a superb good rest... it felt as if i'm not having any exams after my first paper.. with those chilling out after wedding and mahjong at jui's house after sunday service.. haha.

Going for wedding after first paper isn't a cool thing to have.. To start off with getting a hairdo.. trying to get the hair in shape.. and ended up forgetting the time to set off for paper.. the tension in the heart that keeps pressing on.. "oh no.. pls.. i dun wan to me late for paper..relax relax.. God pls help... get the bus vroom vroom fast..." Wow.. I have a mighty God.. He really answered my prayer.. I reached the room 5 mins before 1pm! phew.

it's not over yet... after paper.. rushed with all those barang barangs to the church.. the tension when there wasn't any cab to take you to the destination.. it's stressful. Waited for 20mins, and I ended up taking a bus to Clementi and a train to Commonwealth. -.-'''

And.. Praise the Lord! I'm not exactly late huh. :) Still managed to get changed and seated down before anything starts..

Anyway I thought the sat's paper will be horrible(look below for difficulty ratings), cos past year paper was a killer. I sweat when I tried it... but thankfully, this year paper din turn out too bad..I was pretty glad that i know how to do.. but just din have enough time to finish.. haha. my lecturer said that there will be a part which she had never taught, but will be tested, to know who are the "A" student... knowing that there's not much time left... lol... i tried the never test before one.. hopefully i've got the correct answer... but.. i din finish an easy 10m question.. lol. so.. can i still be that "A" student.. haha. just crapping.

Pls pray for me k... long exam period... still have got 9 more days to tahan!

Presentations are really troublesome..
worse is just a 5%! and we gotta prepare like crazy..
but afterall, it's over..
now it's the reports here and there...
total 3 of them...

think this week oso not a good week.

haha. i've myself a job during this three months break!

and my mum agreed and encouraged me tooooo..

hahahaaa...

the pay is great, but hopefully i can endure through the three months..

that is to exercise everyday and burn all those fats away!

I always think that my life is like a story.
I'm the main lead in this story.
Director is Him.
Everything is lined up and planned.
And sometimes I'll feel that this story is too draggy.
The storyline isn't as wonderful as I want it to be.
I want a change, I want a different.
Yet I can't do anything but to listen to the director of my life.
Coz He will say, "wait wait wait"
And when i can't follow or do what He expects, He will say, "CUT!"
But he won't say "take 2"
Because there's no take 2 in this story line.
Everything is one time, one chance.
He says "cut" for only one reason.
For the very reason to make the second half of the story a better one.
Perhaps that's the reason why it's draggy..
I will also think why didn't he try making this story more interesting with another main lead?
Did my director even have this plan?
Or maybe he'll shout a "cut" again like how he did last time?
Is the story going to spark with how i thought it might be?
and finally.. "Good take!"?
Director Director.. how do u want this story to end?
I hope it's an impacting and happy story with a "good take" from you.

I'm officially 23 today!
AH~~ it's so scary!
it's like so fast..
And my bday all these years had been really different every year..
They are all different.. or i would say special :)
because it's different surprises and different mood.
God always give surprises that I would never expect, and people whom I din expect to mark this day as "germaine's bday".

Had a real sumptuous dinner at home with my mum's specialty.."chilli crabs"! and a very nice white chocolate macademia cake from Secret Recipe upon my request! yummy!
A group of NUS friends who celebrated my bday on fri.. supposedly to be only a few.. but they were nice to come and sing song and made that day special.. haha. :)
Followed by a dinner at Marche Vivo.. nice place and good companies.. thanks ting and jacelyn! :)
The roses and gift which they gave! Thanks a million.. love them.

And finally.. my BBRS.. They surprised me on 9th March 2008, 12.10am with a cake outside my house, and sang a loud bday song despite of the late hour! They made this day really special.. thanks bbrs with the love and BIG thought to celebrate specially for me! A genuine 12 years of friendship! I shall name this day "A Surprisingly Surprising Surprise!" Lol. And YOU GALS really make me feel i'm always 16 years old. :p (oh next time remember to bring lighter okie..dun borrow from the bday gal again! lol :p)

I began to believe more and more in time.
it's only through time that I can see the real story behind.
Yesterday I may see that person very nice and giving a true heart to listen.
Today I may see that same person avoiding and getting tired to my sharing.
Tomorrow I may see that same person telling me all the reasons to his doings.
And I'll understand why.
I hope Tomorrow come.
But somewhat I hope Yesterday remain as it was.

I know it's for many years.. maybe 4 years? haha.
but i din expect it to leak or burst.. (which i dunno cos about 3/4 was all over my displays)
Thank God my pooh bears are protected by those cups, bowls and bottles around it. haha.
All those were like given since Sec 4.. which was quite an "in" thing to give those stuff. haha.
Fortunate with those things, and can wipe off easily! phew..
but just warning to those ex advisors like jasper, sarah, huiyu etc... watch out for yours! lol.

what a bad day!
woke up early for a lecture at 10am but realised i forgot to print notes.
so i went to my com lab to print lahz.
they changed the system to choose the printers to print in the com
and that computer that i'm using couldn't detect the new system.
then i changed com.. waited for the com to start for super long and finally it got started up.
i clicked to the file that i wanted, set the printer using the new system, and i began to print a few notes.
but guess what! it later indicates that the printer was not connected! so i went to the printing room.. ARRGGGHHH! some technicians are fixing the printers! at this time?! without informing!
and now.. 10.51am. I'm still in the com lab! feel so arrggh! why?!

This post is gonna be long..
No school for me this week.. it's unofficial.
But neither did i enjoy myself this week..
I was supposed to have school for 3 days..

Unfortunately I had a gastric on Tuesday.. seemed to have upset my tummy.
Then for today, Mum requested me to stay home as she had called this guy, who specialize in this area, to help us fix our lights as she bought new lightings..
And my mum had two lights for him to fix, one rack(for my room) and one hanger (for the kitchen) hoping that since he has the drill, then might as well "shun bian".
Before he drilled the holes to fix the rack, he asked if it'll affect the electricity flow.. (maybe some cables etc..) and after mumbling to himself.. it seemed that he had analysed that there'll be no problem. so he fixed my rack and hurray, my room was done!
And so he went to the kitchen and followed my mum instruction without questioning about water pipes and electricity like he previously did, and started to drill the holes for her. It was really one hole away from success! what we need was four holes drilled to put the hanger up. But... the next moment i saw when he drilled the fourth hole was.....................

WATER STARTED SPLASHING OUT WITH HIGH PRESSURE!

GOSH! the uncle quickly used his thumb to hold the water back, and asked me to switch off the main water supply.. but.. i just couldn't figure how to off it.. and he called me to take over his position, so he could switch the main supply. The water pressure was seriously very strong.. and i just got myself wet and shocked in the midst of taking over as the water stopper! Horrible experience.. I had never since such high pressure water splashing onto my face and body.. what's more in an indoor area! The three of us in the kitchen were stunned.. really. My mum and I were scared.. it's just terrifying. The water pipe specialists are coming to fix the water pipe tmr.. my mum gotta work.. and that explains why I can't go school tmr oso..

Sigh. I think it gonna cost a bomb.. at least a few hundred dollars.. Whenever I think of this incident.. tho it's scary, it makes me laugh. cos what my mum wanted was just to put a $10 dollar plus hanger.. and now.... it costs her at least $xxx. My mum was funny too.. she said that letting water splash in is good.. means money will come. lol. Superly superb.

I was stuck in a traffic jam from about 1830-1915 near Ang Mo Kio Hub.. it was a terrible jam.. and I was stuck on Bus 136. it was not an expressway.. neither is it a road that will be jammed usually. therefore, the first thought was.. "oh no.. must be some serious car accident.." and it really was. the wail of the siren was right behind my bus. and as it was really jammed up, the ambulance was held back too. The wail of the siren got louder and louder and it created the tension and fear in me. The urgency was so strong that the ambulance gotta go against the direction and drive on the opposite road. my heart was really thinking about the seriousness of the accident. in fact, goosebumps were all over me. When the bus finally started moving and getting closer to the accident..oh gosh.. it was a bus (somewhat like a school bus to me) being crashed into a huge lorry in the junction of a four directional road. the bus' window was crushed and policemen were giving directions. four sides of the road were jammed up.. it was quite like a mess. Just pray that the drivers would be safe and sound..

The week started in relaxing mood but it ended in total tiredness after today..
I've never sat in a lecture hall for six hours without any lunch or proper break!
It was really tired especially for the last lecture which the lecturer dragged the lecture with all the praises of herself in the construction industry.. yah i admit she's really good in this industry but perhaps she could have shared them the next time and not holding us back.
I suppose for the future fridays would be like this too.. sigh. 6 hours lectures at one go isn't a joke. can't regret now.. cos i used high bidding points to get that module.. what to do? bear with it and live with it for another sem then..
However fortunately I had no tuition on friday!
Phew.. good planning for this at least!

Finally I'm done with my room! Really love my room now cos it has been revamped! hoho. no more sitting on the floor as if i'm a jap! Sitting on good comfy swivel chair accompanied with a neat white table, matching my new coated apple white wall! I'm glad that these one week's effort wasn't in waste or in disappointment! Thank God for all the blessings! :)

School's starting in 9 hours time! Oh no.. stunned with the fact that I need to think of what time to wake up for preparation after so many weeks with so many events! Break from school for too long and it seems that starting school is a new thing once again! maybe this is good.. so I can set new goals for this new sem!

Really need wisdom for this semester! 5 cores for this sem again!
Tuition increased from 3 students to 5 now!
YF commitment will increase too.. no more datang!
And... new commitment into children min!

I was rather happy today..
Today's paper was wonderful I would say..
questions are quite expected..
Tho I know when many said it was good, it's a bad thing..
well.. it's a bell shape curve.. maybe I din write as good.
Soon... that happiness swell away.
An sms just changed my mood for the whole day..
You may think it's just a small matter..
or you may think I can get over it..
I thought I can too.
I tried watching taiwan shows..
I laughed.. smiled..
But tears just dropped once it's over.
You wouldn't know how much that sms hurts.
Maybe I deserve it..
But i wouldn't want it to happen like this..
It could be dealt in a better way.
But it din happen as it should be.
It makes me feel I'm a lousy person once again..

The people who hurt you most are the ones who shows a "i'm alright" face,
but in their hearts, they are pissed off with you and din express.. but once they express, their words are like double-edged sword that pierced into the heart of yours, and expect you to change and say "sorry" for what you've done. But who's going to heal that broken heart of mine?

LAOPA is back!
hohoho! huiyu, baoqi and I went to welcome him at the airport just now.. hoho. he never change.. he still carries the bouncy feel.. keke. surprisingly, we welcome another person to S'PORE too!!! and he is... MR PIG! XIAO ZHU, LUO ZHIXIANG! wow.. he looked real good.. (drool) very young and handsome.. it was just unintentional that we met him at the arrival hall with lotsa young gals shouting and screaming out their lungs. err... it was pretty scary tho.. haha.

oh no... superly lagging behind studies.. i'm not studying at home!!! I need to study! MOTIVATE me pls~~

yesh!! it's RESTING day!!!
Realised that once I got so busy with projects that with consecutive nights slping at 3 am and waking up at 9am, I'll still be tired even when i sleep at 12am after that..
it's like overly tired that I think I need a super good rest!
but Thank God.. I managed to finished those two projects with satisfied work standard.. ;)
Left only two projects due on fri and mon! after that..
whooosh! it's revision period! really pray that I won't be as tired as those two.. :)

I actually spent $65 in Life Bookshop today!
Guess what I've got...
1. A devotional book that the "always-never-read" Huiyu commented it to be good.. haha. "Daily Readings From Your Best Life Now" by Joel Osteen.
2. A supposedly one month one christian CD "habit" of mine has now become half a year one... of course.. I will get the best of all.. "Hillsong United-All of the Above"
3. hmm. This is the greatest harvest of the day.. it's pretty amazing. I have never really wanted to get a new one for it.. ppl always say it's "alive"... it's a "kid's colouring" thingy with highlights all over..it's really OLD and torn.. Uhuh.. I've got myself a NEW BIBLE after 8 years! :)

Upon getting these items.. I just want to mark this day as a step with actions to say that I'm waiting for something good to happen, and I want a breakthrough! and I believe.. Amazing events will happen and happen in me and around me!

All I need to do is S.U.R.R.E.N.D.E.R and F.I.G.H.T A G.O.O.D. F.I.G.H.T. O.F. F.A.I.T.H!

It's so difficult.
Why things didn't go as what is expected?

It's so irritating.
Could u stop acting like one if u know u can't be one?
Acting pressure to me, doubting me, telling me to do this and that..
Causing me to have those negative thoughts to do stupid things just because of your irritating acts and words.

And you. Could you stop acting ignorant? Just share when you have thoughts lahz. What's there to retreat and let that person learn? Voicing out only when that person can't manage. Arrggh. What's this?

Today marks a very important day!
It's my first time playing drums proper for service!
and it's combined service.. rare opportunity but it's really a great experience. :)
It's been a long time since I keep reminding myself to play and serve in Spirit.
Wow... the last time that I need to remind myself again and again is like 6 years ago?
when I started playing and serving as guitarist?
and after playing for 6 years, there isn't really a need to keep reminding..
Cos it becomes natural and i'll just play and worship.
And now after 6 years, process repeats and I need to constantly remind myself again..
I'll need another...

What is the purpose of a person living on Earth?
The model answer would be to worship the God who created us.
What's worship then?
Besides all those wonderful experiences of dwelling in His presence, is there an existence of unhappiness?
A contradiction isn't it.. Aren't a person to lead a life of worship? yet.. unhappiness in the midst of this life?
How did these unhappiness events become listed as unhappy?
Once a brother told me, there is always a positive and negative.
Because we've tasted the happy, and when it comes to something not happy, we'll know it's not unhappy.
so are all these unhappiness formed by man?
How does one become so negative and think that everything doesn't worth being happy.
Happy...
when... everyone works together with no other perspectives but one....
when... there isn't such thing as greater responsibility.
when....... we don't have such higher expectation of that person...
when..... we don't have that "distrust"...
when... we don't have sour relationships.
ultimately, it's when we didn't get to see more of the world..
because... the world makes us all think differently.. expect higher, set the responsibility for us to take, makes us suspicious of one another and destroy all relationships even when initially we are working towards a common goal.

Relax and rest at Cameron Highlands

It was a real rejuvenation at the mountain 1829metres above sea level!
I managed to take a break from everything and just relax and slow down.
Nice sceneries and sweet aroma of plantations.
No rush for anything.. kids have no worries..
money is no issues to the adults..
as long as they have a plantation.. it's good enough.
It's just a different life and different views of life.

This is their village's apple. they call it "shui jing ping guo". not that bad taste..

my favourite of all! STRWBERRY FARM! and we can pick our own strawberries if we want to buy.. and of course.. i won't want to miss this chance!

had a long day yday hanging..
lecture.. tutorial.. and dinner with my NUs friends Aji-tei.
Not a bad place. overall still okay. haha :)

This week was a hazardous week.
I dun care if it's a correct vocab..
but it just hazardous.
Presentation and class test fell on the same day!
Gotta prepare slides and the presentation manner.. (cos it's a communication course!)
and that class test requires lots of memorising!
Overall it's just hazardous!
I felt like i've been treated with poison and i'm dying.
but.. it's all OVER already!! :)
yea-hoo!
and my group got our feedback which was rather POSITIVE!
so cheer on!! :O
my break unofficially started.. lol
going to clear my tuition before going up the mountain.. keke

it's pretty scary to experience the building shaking, and you're alone at home.
That moment you may think I'd got emotional.
I actually tot of the possibility of death because of the shaking of the building.
What was my mind thinking about after that?
You may think I'm once again talking about salvation.
Yes I am. But it seemed that they are all planned.
One incident after another.
Is God trying to tell me that I really need to bring salvation to them?
If not, I'll not have that chance to do so?
So, what was my mind thinking about during that 1min plus of the building shaking?
I thought of my family members.
It's not about my future.. it's not about what will happen to me.
But rather, what will happen to my family members.
I'll be going heaven..
What about them?
And I got so scared that I cried.
For that moment, I don't want to die.
I don't want the world to collapse.
For the thought that brings out the reason that I've yet to bring my family to Christ.
After all these incidents, when will I actually start doing all that I want?
God, give me courage and a best timing.

pretty busy these few days..
busy with school.. going for lectures.. oh kinda of proud of myself tho.. haha.
I'm actually going for lectures! *applause*
not just that.. busy spending time with family.
I really want to treasure them.
every day.. every hour.. every minute..
I think time is limited and we just do not have a lifetime to be with them.
Those 2 years were indeed an experience gained in another family.

tired body.. tired mind..
But a little prayer in the midst puts a smile on my face..
Closing my eyes... thinking of the Father looking after me..
thinking of the blessings i've gotten..
that warmth.. i recognise that warmth..
it just fills those empty spaces in me.

finally a day of rest!
Tho alternate monday was my free day, that consecutive tues is bad enough!
It totally drains me off!
whatever rest i'd taken, whatever food i'd eaten just couldn't make that tired body not tired on tuesday!!
tuesday morning 645AM wake up..
had a tutorial, break for 3 hours.
Did some revision.
Had lunch with friends.
2pm starts another tutorial.
4pm another long and draggy lecture, with a super naggy lecturer, who ended the lecture at 610! crap.
Endure through that peak hours with all those working ppl, who are KIASU to the max.
As if they had never sat the whole day.
ok so I stood throughout the bus/train journey.
reached home 745PM.
And had a 12 hours rejuvenation.
Alternate Tuesday will be like this again.
Arrgghh.
Later tuitions for the 2 cute kids.
okie hopefully they make my day!

People like to rake up other people's past.
Using the past impression of someone to think of that person in the present or future situations.
Haven't we tried?
We are now in different places.
We have different commitments.
Yet, ppl still see us like the past.
When we have many reasons to why we are in the end back in the way we are like in the past, ppl still thinks it's because we want to be in the past.
But have these people realised that there're many reasons, and even when all these reasons become invalid, isn't that just one time? one time that we are back in the past after so many months?
I say you are not understanding.
You say we are insensitive.
I say you are disappointing.
You bring up all the past of how you have helped us, and say we are more disappointing.
I say out our reasons.
You say these are not the main reason.
I say we are truthful.
You say we are just facial.
I say you are so tactless in words.
You say because we are unappreciative.

When can we stop having that thorns in our hearts?

Teaching my student today reminded me of my Primary School days..

Today, my tuition boy was showing faces when I asked him to do an English Quiz.
And I asked him, "Is your Dad rich?"
He said no, and gave me a curious face.
And I asked another question, "then why are you wasting your dad's money now by not using this time wisely?"
He finally started trying those questions.

I flipped through the maths homework that I gave him during the previous session,
there were alot of blanks.. he just simply said that he dunno how to do..
my only question to him is.. "Did you try?"

I was like him.
I had a tutor, his name is Mr Yap.
He taught me when I was Primary 3. (I think so..)
It just recalls those times that I had my tuition with Mr Yap.
He was a full time tutor.
A little old, but not old to that extent that he was having his whole head white then.
I remembered dreading my feet to my bedroom for tuition.
Always slowing down to do things.. or purposely dropping my eraser or pencils on the floor
and taking a long time looking for it.
Whenever he asked for my assessment books, I would purposely pretend to look for it even when I saw it, and knew where it was.
Seriously wasting time.. wasting my parents' money.
Now I look at my students.. haa.
They are doing the same old tricks to me.
It quite memorable.
But I would take Mr Yap as a model for me to follow.
Whenever I teach, I'll recall how he taught me.
The patience, the nice tone that he would use..
That heart of teaching I would say.
I believe that every experience would mark a learning point,
though it might take 10years to learn.

ah! i've taken that kid back for tuition... haa. it's quite a joke.. but i'm not sure if it's good or bad.. but i know i can't drop him whenever i want from now on.. cos it's PSLE. what I really need is wisdom.. time management to go thru this semester.. 3kids.. 5mods.. all core modules. haa. Jiayou man. I'm going to do them well, and definitely better than last sem! And all thru God's grace and providence! Yea.

Going JB with my age ppl just rocks.. cos it's no longer with parents and relatives.. no aunties around.. but simply TAITAIs. Haha. we had lots of fun shopping together on a Tuesday afternoon and bargaining with the ice-cream gal for more scopes of ice-cream at the same price! (and the gal really gives alot!) oh gosh.. is that really a tai tai life? haha. but it's fun ultimately.. :D I enjoyed myself! and M'sia seafood feast is simply affordable and yummy!

And we met "Pastor Teoh" over there too! such a coincidence right!! spotted him in the photo?? second photo.. the one in yellow! WAH. look alike right! just that he's spec-less! haha. at least 90% alike! :D (maybe we can use it to blackmail him for having two jobs.. wahahaha, just kiddin! :p )

Celebrated my sis's bday on monday! I actually went to buy Chocolate Banana from Secret Recipe for her. (seems like it's more for me to try the cake :p) everyone says it's nice. But one thing i can't deny is that IT'S REALLY BIG AND BANANA-ISH!! the moment I saw the cake, I stunned for a while, called my mum to ask if it's wise to buy the cake, after all we are heading for a buffet! haha. But my mum just say "mai lah mai lah!" (as in buy lah!) I had a lot of expectation on that cake, cos there are dessert experts who commented that it's really gd! experts like Cynthia and Joel. I had a big slice of it! full of BANANAS and it's nice! but I expected much more! haha. maybe cos it's not cold enough! Just felt the cake rather dry too. But overall I'll give 4/5! :p

Yday was barbarians' night out! Excited for our Harry Potter movie.. so as usual, we went NTUC to buy snacks and drinks, and smuggled them into the Cinema. it seems like after so many years, we are still the same; as noisy as ever! even at NTUC, we seemed to be like secondary school kids buying tidbits and drinks. and even to the extent that we can crack jokes here and there during the process.

An incident to remember:
Cast: Chicken, Kana, Doggie, Laoda and Piggie(Me)

We were very noisy, thinking of what flavour of Ruffles we should buy.. and came a couple pushing a trolley behind Laoda, and as her name suggests, she's LAODA! she dun care.. lol so she just happily block ppl's way...

couple(man): excuse me..
(Kana and Piggie saw Laoda still talking very loudly.. they pushed Laoda aside, Laoda remains ignorant)
Piggie(looking at the man): She's sorry!
couple(man): Thank you..

All of us burst into laughter.. and Laoda started hitting Piggie! hahaha. it's really memorable.
